Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz pasta (such as spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika, then add to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan and Thicken the Sauce: Stir in the grated Parmesan and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Combine and Serve: Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy Parmesan sauce until well coated. Top with the cooked chicken pieces.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley over the dish and serve immediately.
