Pineapple Lemonade

Sweet, tangy, and refreshing—this tropical twist on classic lemonade is perfect for hot summer days!

Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 5-6 lemons)
  • 1 cup pineapple juice (fresh or bottled)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup sparkling water (optional, for fizz)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh pineapple slices & lemon wheels (for garnish)
  • Mint leaves (optional, for freshness)

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Syrup

  • In a small saucepan, combine ½ cup water and sugar. Heat until sugar dissolves (no need to boil). Let cool.

2️⃣ Mix the Juices

  • In a pitcher, combine lemon juice, pineapple juice, sugar syrup, and cold water. Stir well.

3️⃣ Chill & Serve

  • Refrigerate for 1 hour (or serve immediately over ice).
  • Just before serving, add sparkling water (if using) for bubbles.
  • Garnish with pineapple slices, lemon wheels, and mint.

Tips & Variations

🍍 Grilled Pineapple – Char pineapple slices for a smoky-sweet flavor.
🌶 Spicy Kick – Add a pinch of tajín or muddled jalapeño.
🍹 Adult Version – Spike with rum or vodka for a tropical cocktail!

Bonus: Freeze leftover pineapple juice into ice cubes to keep it chilled without diluting.
